I am Kisoo Kim, and I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Chicago.
How much will I long for my mother’s face when I grow too old? How deeply will I crave a breath if I’m suffocating? How dearly will I miss my love once it’s gone? After all, how preciously will I treasure every single moment if I were dead but could look back? Taking pictures is my way of answering these questions, and I thereby try to be present in the fleeting yet eternal moments.
